Privacy Policy — UNAS Google Backups

UNAS Google Backups is a private backup tool operated by Haddad Management for authorized personal, family, and business accounts.
Information accessed
With the account owner’s permission, the tool uses read-only Google Drive access to read and download files and related metadata, such as file names, folder locations, file sizes, and modification dates. Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides may be exported into standard document formats.
The tool does not modify or delete files in Google Drive. It does not request access to Gmail, Google Calendar, or Google account passwords.
How information is used
Google Drive data is used only to create, maintain, and restore private backups. Each connected account is backed up to a separate folder on a privately managed UniFi UNAS Pro storage device.
Google user data is not sold, used for advertising, or used to train artificial intelligence models.
Storage and access
Backup files are stored on the private UNAS device. Connection credentials and Google authorization tokens are stored on the computer running the backup software. Access is limited to authorized account owners and administrators responsible for operating and maintaining the backup system.
The tool uses rclone and Google’s authorization services to perform backups. Data is not shared with unrelated third parties, except where required by law.
Retention and deletion
Backups are retained until deleted by an authorized owner or administrator. Deleting a file from Google Drive does not automatically delete its backup.
Account owners may request deletion of their backup files and stored authorization credentials by contacting the address below. Older copies may remain in backup snapshots until those snapshots expire or are deleted.
Your choices
Connecting an account is voluntary. You can revoke access at any time through your Google Account’s third-party connections settings. Revoking access stops future access to Google Drive but does not automatically erase existing backups.
Google API compliance
UNAS Google Backups’ use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
